The product representations in the online shop do not constitute a legally binding offer but serve as a non-binding invitation to place an order.
By clicking the âBuy nowâ button, you make a binding purchase offer. The contract is only concluded once we explicitly accept your offer, typically through a shipping confirmation sent by email.
4. Prices and Payment Methods
All prices include applicable statutory VAT (where relevant) and do not include shipping costs unless stated otherwise. Available payment methods will be shown during the checkout process.
Currently, we offer free shipping within Germany.

5. Shipping and Delivery Conditions

6. Retention of Title
The goods remain the property of FinestPaw LLC until payment is made in full.
7. Customized Products
Withdrawal is excluded for custom-made items (e.g., engraved or made-to-measure products) as per §âŻ312g Para.âŻ2 No.âŻ1 BGB.
The customer is responsible for the accuracy of personalization details submitted.
8. Right of Withdrawal for Consumers
Consumers have a legal right of withdrawal.

11. Value Compensation for Returns
In the event of a withdrawal (§âŻ8), you may be required to compensate for any loss in value of the goods if the deterioration is due to unnecessary handling beyond the inspection of quality, characteristics, and functioning (§âŻ357 Para.âŻ7 BGB).
This particularly applies to:
- Visible signs of use, damage, or heavy wear
- Personalized or custom-made items
- Missing or damaged original labels or packaging
As we only sell new goods, such items cannot be resold at the regular price. In these cases, we reserve the right to deduct an appropriate amount from your refund.
12. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
12.1 Improper Use
FinestPaw LLC is not liable for injuries, damages, or losses to animals, persons, or property caused by improper use, attachment, or handling of our products.
12.2 Buyerâs Responsibility
The buyer is solely responsible for ensuring correct usage and fit of the product, and for verifying that the product suits the size, strength, and behavior of the animal.
12.3 No Guarantee of Absolute Safety
Although our products are handcrafted with care, we do not guarantee full escape-proof performance, bite resistance, or universal suitability for all animals or scenarios.
12.4 Exclusion of Consequential Damages
FinestPaw LLC is not liable for direct or indirect damages, financial losses, or consequential damages resulting from the animalâs behavior during or after use of the productâespecially not for sudden pulling or escaping that may result in injury or property damage.
The buyer assumes full responsibility for the safe and appropriate use of the product.
Liability beyond mandatory statutory requirements is excluded.
Statutory product liability laws remain unaffected.
12.5 Liability Limitation
To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the purchase price of the product in question.
12.6 No Replacement for Professional Advice
Our products do not replace professional veterinary or behavioral consultation. When in doubt, consult a qualified expert.
12.7 Customerâs Duty to Inspect
The buyer is responsible for reading all product information and inspecting the item for damage, fatigue, or wear before each use. Use of damaged products is at the customerâs own risk.
12.8 Product Safety
(1) FinestPaw LLC collars and leashes are intended exclusively for leashed dogs with proper walking behavior. Use on non-trained, extremely strong, or pulling dogs may result in injury or damage. The buyer must assess the productâs suitability before each use.
(2) Despite thorough quality control, the buyer is required to inspect the product before first use and regularly thereafter for visible defects and the functionality of seams, hardware, and fasteners. Ongoing inspection is the buyerâs responsibility.
12.9 Material Deviations
Each product is a handmade original crafted from natural leather. Natural variations in color, texture, or surface appearance (e.g. scars, wrinkles) are normal and do not constitute defects.
12.10 Legal Compliance
It is the buyerâs responsibility to ensure the use of the product complies with local laws and regulations.

14. Dispute Resolution under the German Consumer Dispute Resolution Act (§âŻ36 VSBG)
The European Online Dispute Resolution platform (ODR) was discontinued as of July 20, 2025.
We are willing to participate in a dispute resolution procedure before a consumer arbitration board.

15. Governing Law
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.
Mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence remain unaffected.
16. Final Provisions
Contracts with FinestPaw LLC are subject to the law of the United States of America. The contract language is German or English. If any provision of these Terms is or becomes invalid, the remainder of the contract remains in effect.
