Radiant, strong, unique!

The centerpiece of our braided collection : a handcrafted, unique dog collar made of premium leather (smooth leather on the outside, nappa leather on the inside), featuring a striking cross-braid. Light catches the surface from the side, highlighting the relief-like structure of the braid; softly polished edges and a subtle seam allow the braiding to speak for itself. Exclusive, elegant, and special.

FAQ

Cross braiding – processing & durability

The braided segments are sewn together by hand on the inside . Unraveling of the braid is structurally impossible. Material-specific wear and tear from localized abrasion may occur anywhere over time.

Vegetable-tanned leather – natural, breathable, unique

Our leather is tanned with vegetable tannins instead of chromium salts. This preserves the natural fiber structure : breathable , skin-friendly, and durable. With use, a beautiful patina develops – each hide is unique with subtle color variations and characteristic features of the material.

Rain, lake & saltwater: how to properly care for your leather collar

Leather can withstand rain in everyday life if it's allowed to air dry afterwards. Saltwater strips out natural oils, dries out leather over time, and can damage hardware . If it happens: rinse with fresh water , dry gently, let it dry slowly , and condition sparingly .

Hardware note: ZAMAK, stainless steel and solid brass are more saltwater tolerant than simple alloys.

Fit guide: How to measure neck circumference correctly & choose the ideal width

Measure the neck circumference at the wearing position – snug, without tension. Add 1–2 cm for slack ; this measurement will later correspond to the middle hole .

Patina & color depth: why leather darkens with everyday use

Leather reacts to light, skin oils, and care products – this makes it softer and slightly darker . This is not a defect, but rather patina . If you prefer a more subdued tone: air dry wet leather slowly , then apply leather conditioner sparingly and avoid direct heat sources . This will keep your leather dog collar looking beautiful for a long time.
